Yeah 3x - Chris Brown

"Yeah 3x" is a song by American recording artist Chris Brown. It was written by Brown, Justin Franks, Kevin McCall, Amber Streeter, and Richard Adam Wiles, and produced by DJ Frank E. The song was released as the lead single from Brown's fourth studio album F.A.M.E. on October 25, 2010. Brown recorded the song for his pop audience since he had been doing a lot of mixtapes and urban records.
Musically, "Yeah 3x" is an uptempo dance-pop, Europop, and electro-house song; it uses a video game-type beat and features a thick bassline and big synth chords. Critical reception towards the song was positive, with critics praising its production and lyrics. Other critics noted its similarities to Brown's 2008 single "Forever". However, its comparisons to Calvin Harris' 2009 single "I'm Not Alone" led to controversy. The song charted in several countries, including Australia, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, where it all attained top-ten positions. "Yeah 3x" was also a top-twenty hit in the United States, Canada, Norway, Slovakia, and Sweden. As of February 2011, the song has sold over one million digital copies in the United States.
